1. Have a very good and consistant producer of 125" and better bucks in Indiana. This tract is nearly 3,000 acres of prime crop/woods along the Wabash R., just a stones throw from the Illinois east border.
We have accomadations here and stands up. You will cook your own meals. This is about 6 miles SW of Vincennes, Ind. so you can eat in town if you want.
This property consistantly produces good bucks each year and an occasional buiser will be spotted as well. These bucks weigh out at well over 200 lbs on average and often cross the river from Illinois. We control the Illinois side as well, so bucks here get good age on them.
At present, I have 4-5 openings for GUN season and for ML season. (Seperate tags required for both). NR tags are $150 here for everything you need.
We have run about 95% on buck oppurtunity here in recent years. One year, we were 100% on 8 point or better bucks. This is very good mid-west hunting.
Prices for these spots (including lodging) is $1000 per man.
Check out this slide show showing some of the past hunts:
2. I also have a small tract (165 ac. +) that is covered up with deer in Gibson Co. Ind. that is also on the Wabash R. and the border with Illinois.
This tract is within driving distance from or clubhouse at Vincennes, so it also includes lodging but no meals.
This tract is a funnel area from a tree farm and crop land nearby and on the property. It's has a lot of deer and there are several good bucks taken in the area each year.
Price on this one is the same as the Vincennes, but we limit it to no more than 3 hunters. Add $200 each and you can also waterfowl hunt this tract. It's very close to the refuges.
3. I have about 700 acres of cropland/CRP/woods near Dale, Illinois that is open for both the GUN and the ML season. That is 10 days of hunting if you buy both tags and possibility of taking home 2 big Illinois bucks.
This property is a good producer and has a proven history. Last year it produced 2 really good bucks. The CRP is wild and wooley so you'll want to stay on stand most of the day here. There are also several good blocks of timber if you want to hunt woods.
You can camp on the property in a building located on the north end or stay in a motel about 15 miles away.
Price on this tract is $1100 ea., includes Spring turkey and small game....it's loaded with quail in the CRP.
Our very own buck_fever has teamed up with siteguru to create a online logbook and calendar which tracks harvest data for Whitetail and Turkey on their private hunting clubs. This website also allows the hunt club members to signin on a aerial of the club, so the members can see who is hunting where via their PC or laptop.
